Life Is Good

GG says "Hi, everyone." 
This week has been pretty much like most of our weeks.  Walking, visiting, eating, sleeping, studying scriptures, prayers, FHE. 

That's about it - until the General Women's Conference Broadcast last night.  The Stake Presidency & 4 people in each ward put on a light dinner - a tradition. The 4 sisters from each ward bring a crockpot soup - whatever kind they choose.  We did the decorations and the dessert - a variety of brownies - delicious, but made for a late beginning of the fast.  We had a great attendance due which was a surprise because of it being broadcasted on TV.  The messages were inspiring and clarifying as to what RS is all about.  Powerful evening.

One of the most touching parts of the whole evening was that the men set up and took down all of the tables and chairs - two different wards.  Our President's husband felt we should use glass bowls and plates and lit was so important to him that we do this, he volunteered to wash the dishe and he and our high councilman did just that. Everything was all cleaned up when we came out of the meeting.  What a blessing.  We had such a great feeling of gratitude and it gave a real feeling of unity between the women and the priesthood.

Our computer is fixed, but it isn't back home so no pictures.  (Not only was there one threat that had hidden itself, the zip drive was full of viruses and BJ thinks that has been a lot of our problems.  How did it get infected?  I have no idea.  Where there's a will, there's a way.
